Bread slice pizza is a quick snack recipe made with millet bread slice, quick tomato pizza sauce, quick cheese and veggies. This makes a great snack for kids parties and most of them will love this.

Ingredients

for Pizza Base

4 slices bread (organic millet or whole wheat bread)

Topping

2 tbsp homemade pizza sauce

3 tbsp homemade cheese

1/2 teaspoon of italian herbs

1/4 teaspoon of oregano

1/2 tsp red chilli flakes(optional)

1/2 cup finely chopped bell pepper (red, greed yellow)

1/4 cup finely chopped mushrooms

1/4 cup finely chopped spinach

Homemade pizza sauce Ingredients

2 medium size tomatoes

3 pods of garlic

1 soft date (washed)

1/4 tsp mixed italian herbs

1/4 tsp oregano

Rock salt to taste

Method

1. Grind tomatoes, garlic, date to fine paste.

2. Transfer to bowl and add mixed italian herbs and oregano

3. Add rock salt

4. Our pizza sauce is ready

Homemade cheese

1/4 cup soaked cashews (soake for 4 hrs.)

3 pods of garlic

1/8 tsp of turmeric powder

1/4 tsp nutritional yeast

1 whole lemon juice

1/2 boiled medium potato

Rock salt to taste

Method

1. Grind cashew, garlic, turmeric powder, nutritional yeast and potato.

2. Now transfer to bowl and add lemon juice and rock salt.

3. Mix well. Our quick home made cheese is ready.

Method of making bread pizza

1. Take two slices of bread and roll them with the help of a rolling pin from all sides.

2. Our pizza base is ready. In a similar way prepare the other pizza base.

3. Preheat the oven at 180 degree C for 10 minutes

4.  Arrange the bread slices on a baking tray 

5. Spread pizza sauce over the base. Add all the veggies. Add a layer of prepared cheese.

Sprinkle herbs and chili flakes. 

6. Keep the tray in a preheated oven in the middle rack. Bake/ grill for 15 mins at 180 degree C.

7. Our Bread pizza is ready.
