If you feed your body carrots, it will ask for carrots!

If you feed your body carrot halwa, it will keep asking for carrot halwa.

says my mentor Dr Arun Sharmaji

A few years ago, if someone had asked me to consume only vegetables for dinner, I would have ignored the idea completely as another fad diet!

But now after 10 years, here I am getting invited for dinner and being served this sumptuous buffet of vegetables by my dear friends.

It was comprised of baked tomatoes with spinach and cashew, raw salad of capsicum, cucumber and kale, baked potato, sweet potato and carrot chips and steamed corn beans and amla. It was a blast with respect to taste, texture, and colors. And it took the host less than 20 mins to fix this meal.

So much has changed over these years, the awareness about food and the nutrients in it, the ways of cooking to retain the nutrition, the importance of better absorption than focusing only on consumption so on…

And the most astonishing fact is that how the taste buds have started enjoying the natural taste of fruits and vegetables over the denatured processed food.

It’s never late to start eating carrots over carrot-halwa! Give it a try 😊
