One research done with 100,000 people has proved that there is significant reduction in the rate of mortality when the animal-based protein was replaced with plant-based protein. Research also shows that there is a significant reduction in the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, heart disease and some types of cancers when you replace animal-based protein with plant-based protein. Three, More and more topmost world class athletes are changing to plant-based diet and plant-based protein in order to improve their performance. Four, if you are consuming 2 square meals, or if you are not starving yourself, protein deficiency cannot exist. If you are starving yourself, you are not only deficient in protein. But you are deficient in all other micros and macros. It’s national protein week and the time has come to rethink our obsession with animal-based protein like dairy meat and eggs.
