Who can exist in your world?
My yoga mentor asked me this question a year ago.
I answered,
My family members, my kids, my husband, my maids, my neighbors… I am bound by closeness.
People who eat clean, people who understand nature cure, people who practice yoga, people who are disciplined, people who care for health, people who care for the environment, people who understand veganism…I am bound by the similarities.
My followers, my students, my clients, my mentors, my friends, my well-wishers, people who appreciate what I do… I am bound by acceptance.
People who are genuine, people who are fair, who are authentic, people who do not pass time, people who are focused, people who value money, people who are minimalist …I am bound by the degree of evolvement.
Now-
My friend’s family members, other’s kids, my dog, my neighbor’s dogs, my relatives in Pune, my relatives in the US, their dogs, their kids, their neighbors…
People who eat junk, people who do not believe in alternative therapies, people who are lazy, people who lead extravagant lives, people who drink, people who smoke, people who gamble, people who party over-night…
People who do not listen to me, People who hate me, people who think I am wrong, people who think I am not authentic…
People who are intelligent, who are not so intelligent, People who are poor, people who are extremely rich, people who do not look good, people who are beautiful, people who are very smart, people who are not so smart…
What stops me from including people in my world?
My judgment. Once I drop that, I am free.
