At the age of 46 years, Preeti was diagnosed with diabetes, one more problem along with everyday health issues.  Since she hated taking pills, she decided to commit to clean eating wholeheartedly. In just 2-3 days, she saw her sugar levels going down.

But first, some background.

Preeti’s life was what is accepted as “normal” today. She exercised for two hours a day – yoga and walking. The rest of the day was largely sedentary. For food, she had a cooked breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Snacks included her favourite deep-fried foods such as cutlets, samosas, chips, pakoras, etc. Dinner was typically leftovers of lunch.

Preeti had health concerns such as constipation, acidity, gastric issues, wheezing, and later, diabetes. Tired of taking pills, she tried different remedies – moringa juice, coriander juice, pilates, Herbalife Nutrition drinks, and more. But nothing helped much.

When a close family member reversed her diabetes following clean eating, Preeti decided to give it a shot as well. And she gave it her hundred per cent.

Under Saee’s personal consultation, Preeti understood and incorporated the clean eating principles. She soon came to love the fruits and the experience of sun-basking. Over time, she overcame her craving for dairy products and deep-fried items. With these changes, she saw her sugar levels dropping in just 2-3 days.

The observation motivated her to continue all the practices. She started feeling light and energetic throughout the day. Her weight also reduced, significantly enough for people to take notice. That felt great too.

It wasn’t easy for Preeti to convince her family about clean eating, especially her husband. Avoiding deep-fried foods was also hard for her. But she stuck to her regime. Once her health improvements became evident, she won over her family too.

Preeti says one of the best results of clean eating is the surge in energy and creativity that has come into all aspects of her work. She loves the feeling of being healthful and being a positive influence on her own family.

We wish Preeti all health and happiness!
