Ingredients:
3.5 cups mixed berries (strawberries, mulberries, and raspberry)
1.5 cups jaggery or date syrup
2 tablespoons chia seeds
Method:
Wash all the berries thoroughly.
Transfer the mixed berries to a saucepan and cook over low to medium heat.
As the berries start to soften, add 1.5 cups of jaggery or date syrup.
Cook the jam until it thickens and comes together.
Instead of using artificial thickeners, add chia seeds and mix well.
Once the jam reaches the desired consistency, let it cool down.
Transfer the cooled jam to an airtight container.
Enjoy it as a topping or spread.
Note
Substitute raspberries and blackberries with mulberries and cherry tomatoes for a local twist
