Ingredients:

250g fresh strawberries, washed
1/2 cup liquid jaggery
1 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions:

Cut the strawberries into pieces and place them in a saucepan or pan.
Saute it for a while. Cover the pan for 3-4 minutes
Mash the strawberry with the help of a spatula
Add the liquid jaggery and stir to combine.
Heat the mixture over low heat until it starts to boil.
Let the mixture simmer for about 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the chia seeds and stir well.
Cover and cook for 2 minutes until the jam thickens to your desired consistency.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the jam cool for a few minutes.
Transfer the jam to a sterilized jar and let it cool completely before storing it in the refrigerator.
Enjoy your homemade strawberry jam on toast, with chapati, or as a topping for pancakes. This recipe makes about 1 cup of jam and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
