Momos

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat flour – 1/2 cup( For a gluten-free version rice flour/ ragi flour can be used)
  • Tofu-1/2 cup
  • Onion -1 small
  • Green chilly -as per taste
  • Chopped beans – 1/2 cup
  • Carrots chopped – 1/2 cup
  • Chopped garlic – 2 tbsp

For chutney

  • Tomato -2-3 medium
  • Red dry chilly-1
  • Garlic -4 cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp soaked raisins

Method:

  1. Grate tofu and add green chilly, finely chopped onion, beans, carrots, salt and keep it.
  2. Take whole wheat flour and little bit salt and make the soft dough (just like Chapatti).
  3. Now take a very small ball of dough and roll a very thin circular (size should be smaller than poori)it should be very thin.
  4. Now fill tofu filling in this and seal it in your desired shape.
  5. Steam the momo for 9 to 10 minutes.
  6. CHUTNEY -grind all the ingredients without water and add salt.
