Ingredients:-
3 Sweet Potato
1 tbsp cumin Seed
1/4 tsp hing
2 green Chillies (chopped)
1/2 Cup peanut (crushed)
1/3 cup grated coconut
3 tbsp freshly chopped coriander
rock salt
1 tps jaggery (optional)
Method:-
- Soak Sweet Potatoes in water for around one hour. Wash properly.
- Grate sweet potatoes in 2 cups of water to avoid oxidization. Do not peel the skin of sweet potatotes.
- Drain all the water with the help of colander or seive. Let the drained grated sweet potatoes sit for 5-10 minutes. Transfer to bowl or vessel
- Heat the tadka pan. Add cumin seeds and allow it to splutter. Switch off the gas add hing, chillies .Saute for few minutes
- Add the tadka to the grated sweet potatoes. Add peanut powder
- In a steamer add water. Place the vessel and close the lid. Steam the sweet potatoes for next 8-10 minutes.
- Remove the vessel from the steamer. Add salt, add jaggery, grated coconut and garnish with freshly chopped coriander.
- Serve Hot.
