Red Poha Chat 

 

Ingredients

 

  • Peanut 1/4 cup
  • Red Poha 1 cup
  • Freshly grated coconut – ½ cup
  • Tomato 1big
  • Onion 1 small
  • Chopped Coriander leaves 1/4 cup
  • Himalayan rock salt 1/2 spoon
  • Lemon juice – 2 tsp
  • Dry tadka – mustard seeds, curry leaves

 

Method:

  • Dry roast the peanuts and red poha separately ( It can also be stored in an air-tight container for future use)
  • Instead of roasting poha, you can also use the soaked poha ( red poha soaked in enough water for 3-4 hrs)
  • Chop tomatoes and onions
  • Add the roasted dry ingredients, lemon juice, salt 
  • Add dry tadka of mustard seeds and curry leaves
  •  Garnish with coriander leaves and freshly grated coconut and serve immediately.
