Red Poha Chat
Ingredients
- Peanut 1/4 cup
- Red Poha 1 cup
- Freshly grated coconut – ½ cup
- Tomato 1big
- Onion 1 small
- Chopped Coriander leaves 1/4 cup
- Himalayan rock salt 1/2 spoon
- Lemon juice – 2 tsp
- Dry tadka – mustard seeds, curry leaves
Method:
- Dry roast the peanuts and red poha separately ( It can also be stored in an air-tight container for future use)
- Instead of roasting poha, you can also use the soaked poha ( red poha soaked in enough water for 3-4 hrs)
- Chop tomatoes and onions
- Add the roasted dry ingredients, lemon juice, salt
- Add dry tadka of mustard seeds and curry leaves
- Garnish with coriander leaves and freshly grated coconut and serve immediately.
