Spiced peanuts and sweet almonds
Ingredients:-
Spiced peanuts
- Raw peanuts/ soaked and sprouted peanuts – 1 cup
- Spices – Pepper powder
- Lemon juice – 1 lemon
- Salt as per taste
- Roasted gram powder – 2 tbsp
Sweet almonds
- Raw almonds / soaked and sprouted almonds – 1 cup
- Jaggery syrup – 2 tbsp
- Cinnamon powder – 2 tsp / as per taste
- Rice powder – 1 tbsp
Method:
For spiced peanuts:
- Soak peanuts in water and take out immediately
- Rub them in lemon juice
- Mix them with a mixture of roasted gram powder, pepper powder, and salt
- Bake in OTG at 180 degrees for 8-10 mins
For Sweet Almonds:
- For sweet almonds, dip almonds in jaggery syrup
- Rolled them in the mixture of rice powder and cinnamon powder
- Bake in the OTG for 8-10 mins at 180 degrees.
Nuts are difficult to digest so we can also use the soaked and sprouted nuts to make these munchies.

How long do we soak the peanuts or almonds, for this recipe ?
Deepthi, for 3-4 hrs, drain the water and dry them before using in the recipe
